After the successful launches of Vessel, The 51, and The Idler, we are ready to bring our hospitality to Dublin, Lisbon, and the Zuidas in Amsterdam with large-scale event venues. The Role
As Commercial Events Manager, you are both a sales-driven force and the connecting link between our clients, the events team, and operations. You effortlessly switch between brainstorming new concepts and welcoming a large corporate client. You manage the entire process, from first contact to execution, with an eye for detail and a deep sense of hospitality. Your organizational skills are impeccable. You think in terms of experience, sense what a client needs, and transform it into unique events that align perfectly with our style and locations. Whether it’s a product launch, a neighborhood gathering, or a large corporate event you make sure everything is flawless.
Your Day
Your morning starts with a strong coffee and a quick check-in with the team. Together, you brainstorm ideas for upcoming events concepts that stand out, with flair and impact.
In the afternoon, you pitch a new event concept to a potential client, seamlessly balancing creativity and commercial insight. Meanwhile, you guide the events team during setup, ensuring everything runs smoothly. By the end of the day, you’re preparing for our new locations.
Job requirements
What are we looking for?
Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role.
Proven sales experience in the events industry. You know how to sell a concept, spot opportunities, and generate revenue.
Experience in launching new locations is a plus.
A natural connector with both commercial and creative skills.
Fluent in English and preferably in Dutch, able to navigate effortlessly between clients, partners, and colleagues.
Flexible mindset and full of energy during events.
Overflowing with ideas, sees opportunities, and seizes them.
