Maintenance Manager

  • On-site
    • Dublin, Leinster, Ireland
  • The July Dublin Capel street

Job description

At The July, we are on the hunt for a hands-on Maintenance Manager for our newest addition!

We’re expanding and we’re bringing The July to the heart of Dublin. On iconic Capel Street, our newest 105 apartment-hotel and restaurant is designed to become a welcoming place for travellers, neighbours and the community around us. Thoughtfully developed, sustainably built, and shaped by local design, The July Dublin will feel both distinctly Irish and unmistakably The July.

The July is where great stories begin…

The July is a premium hospitality brand that’s bringing the human touch to the way people travel. We are a group of apartment-hotels driven by delivering the best experience the world has ever seen, for guests staying one night or one year.

From Amsterdam to the world! Together with our shareholder Aware Super, we are implementing our strategy of international growth as owner-operator. Our teams have the ambitious goal to develop multiple new apartment-hotels across prime European cities like London, Dublin, Paris, Lisbon and Barcelona. Each location has the local stories and spirit interwoven throughout the apartment-hotel’s distinctive design.

The Job

🔧 Your mission? In a newly opened building, you’ll be responsible for fine-tuning all systems, troubleshooting early-stage issues, and setting up an efficient maintenance routine. From HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems to fire safety and energy efficiency, you’ll ensure everything is in top condition while managing external contractors when needed.

💡 What we love: Problem-solvers, proactive planners, and hands-on leaders who thrive in a dynamic hospitality setting.

  • Ability to troubleshoot and solve technical issues efficiently.

  • Experience with preventive maintenance planning and contractor management.

  • Familiarity with building automation and energy efficiency practices.

  • Comfortable communicating in English, both speaking and writing.

  • A team player who’s hands-on and stays calm, even when things get busy.

In our flat organization, within an informal working atmosphere, your ideas are highly valued.

  • Competitive salary, depending on your experience.

  • Attractive benefits package, including an attractive bonus scheme, pension and health care.

  • Personal Growth: We invest in your personal and professional growth with personalized training opportunities.

  • Me-Time and Community Day: Enjoy a dedicated day for self-care and another day of community engagement.

  • Hotel & restaurant perks: Enjoy daily closing drinks, exclusive employee rates for stays at our hotels and a Friends & Family Rate, so you can share the joy with your loved ones. Besides our own locations we also offer the "Hotel Employee Rate", where you can explore the world with discount rates for other hotels.
