Job description

The July is where great stories begin…

The July is a premium hospitality brand that’s bringing the human touch to the way people travel. We are a group of apartment-hotels driven by delivering the best experience the world has ever seen, for guests staying one night or one year.

From Amsterdam to the world! Together with our shareholder Aware Super, we are implementing our strategy of international growth as owner-operator. Our teams have the ambitious goal to develop multiple new apartment-hotels across prime European cities like London, Dublin, Paris, Lisbon and Barcelona. Each location has the local stories and spirit interwoven throughout the apartment-hotel’s distinctive design.

As we continue to grow, we’re looking for a proactive, collaborative, and solution-driven Tech Project Manager to support our Tech team and the wider organization. If you’re passionate about technology, love connecting with people across departments, and thrive in a dynamic, fast-growing environment, this could be your next adventure.

The Job

As our Tech Project Manager, you’ll play a central role in supporting The July’s future growth, helping us scale technology across our expanding European portfolio. You’ll drive impactful cross-department projects, such as SSO implementation, while bringing together stakeholders, supporting supplier management, and collaborating on tech budgets. You’ll also assist in project management and help ensure technology continues to be an enabler of our international expansion.

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Act as a bridge between the Technology team and other departments, ensuring smooth collaboration on cross-functional projects.

  • Facilitate workshops and feedback loops to align priorities, build trust, and increase adoption of (new) systems.

  • Support teams in understanding and adopting new technology solutions.

Project Support

  • Planning, coordinate, and monitor tech-related projects across the company.

  • Contribute to the implementation of strategic initiatives like SSO and other system integrations.

  • Apply Agile (Scrum, Kanban) practices to keep projects flexible, efficient, and value-driven.

  • Contribute to structured change governance

Supplier & Budget Management

  • Support in managing technology suppliers, evaluating performance, and ensuring efficiency in delivery and collaboration.

  • Collaborate with the Senior Tech Manager to create and monitor annual tech budgets.

  • Help manage contracts and service agreements to maintain compliance and optimize costs.

Collaboration & Growth

  • Partner with all departments to ensure technology supports both day-to-day operations and long-term growth.

  • Stay curious and open to learning new systems, processes, and approaches.

  • Share ideas to help shape the future of technology within The July.

What we are looking for

  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience)

  • 3-5 years experience in project coordination, stakeholder management, or technology enablement

  • You’re not only a strong project coordinator, but also happy to jump in when day-to-day tech support is needed

  • Affinity for hospitality and technology, ideally having worked at the intersection of both

  • Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum Master certification is a plus)

  • Exposure to process improvement, or change management is highly valued

  • Proficiency with tools like Monday.com, Jira, Confluence, or similar platforms
